Waiting is hard—especially when it feels like you’ve been praying for years with no answer. But the Bible is filled with stories of waiting. Why? Because waiting refines faith.

1. God's Delays Are Not Denials
God’s timing is perfect, but it's rarely fast. Abraham waited 25 years for a son. Joseph spent over a decade in prison before his breakthrough. Delay doesn’t mean God forgot.
2. Waiting Teaches Dependence
When we wait, we stop relying on our own solutions and lean on God’s. It’s in the waiting that we realize we’re not in control—and that’s freeing.
3. Time Isn’t Wasted with God
Every second of waiting has purpose. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” God strengthens, teaches, and transforms you in the waiting.
4. What to Do While You Wait
Don’t just wait passively. Worship, serve others, study Scripture, and pray. God often works behind the scenes while you remain faithful on the front lines.
Waiting is not punishment—it’s preparation. Trust God’s timing. He’s never late.
